'Partners for Justice Season 2' returns with a new character Chul Jang.

In June 03, 2019, the production announcement of the new MBC Monday and Tuesday drama ‘Partners for Justice Season 2’ (Script : Jieun Min, Wongi Cho/ Directing : Dochul Noh) was held in MBC Golden Mouse Hall located in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu. Producer Dochul Noh and actors including Jaeyoung Jeong, Yumi Jeong, Mansuk Oh, Seunghyun Kang, and Minue Noh participated in the production announcement.

‘Partners for Justice Season 2’ is about how cooperation developed in response to developing crimes and it covers a story about the real cooperation between a strict forensic doctor Bum Baek (Jaeyoung Jeong), new passionate prosecutor Eunsol (Yumi Jeong), and experienced prosecutor Jihan Doh (Mansuk Oh). MBC’s first season drama returns with season 2.

Producer Dochul Noh said “Last year, we made ‘Partners for Justice Season 1’ within a production period about a month. The drama received huge supports and we decided to make season 2. A lot of people say that season 1 is always better than season 2. However, we couldn’t show a lot of the parts in season 1 and we made such parts better in season 2. We tried our best in a good mood and we put a lot of efforts to satisfy our viewers”.

Producer Noh said “Since we didn’t have much time for season 1, it had numerous unsatisfactory parts. However, the drama was hugely loved and I want to thank all viewers. While season 1 was about pushing through, I upgraded whole parts in season 2. I enjoyed revising the lines and making scenes with others. Since all of the staff and actors are communicating smoothly, I hope to see more in-depth scenes in season 2”.

‘Partners for Justice Season 2’ will be aired on 9:00 PM after MBC Wednesday and Thursday drama ‘One Spring Night’. Producer Noh said ‘While we were making the drama, we recently heard that the season 2 will be aired on 9 PM. He also delivered that “We wonder how our viewers would think. But I firmly believe that our viewers would enjoy the drama regardless of the time.

‘Partners for Justice Season 2’ features the characters from the season 1 such as Bum Baek (Jaeyoung Jeong), Eunsol (Yumi jeong), and Jihan Doh (Mansuk Oh). Then, what would be the special point of season 2? Producer Noh answered that “The success of season 2 depends on Chul Jang played by Minue Noh. Chul Jang is an emergency department doctor and he has a mysterious character. When I had an audition with Minue Noh, I decided my mind even before he walked in and sat on the chair. Minue Noh is playing an important role and I hope our viewers would support him”.

Producer Noh also said “You don’t have to watch season 1 to understand season 2. Since there are episodes about cases with issues, the viewers would immediately empathize with the drama”. He also explained that “Season 1 is about a prequel on how Bum Baek is a sealed sociopath. On the other hand, season 2 focuses on the details of case episodes. The viewers who are new to the drama will certainly understand season 2 by looking at the case itself”.

Producer Noh added that “The Partners for Justice Season 2 could be the episode-type drama as the overall ratings for the drama got lower. I hope more viewers would watch the drama so that we can work on season 3, too. Although I don’t expect high ratings up to 20%, it would be great to have double-digit ratings continuously”.
