Band Hoppipolla became the final winner of ‘Immortal Songs’ after their second attempt.

In KBS2 Entertainment Program, ‘Immortal Songs’, broadcasted on October 5, Hoppipolla reinterpreted Koyote’s Broken Heart in their own way and moved the audiences. Their performance started with a cello and Hoppipolla’s band arrangement captivated the audiences with completely different atmosphere. The solo guitar performance in the middle of the song was also a great spectacle.

Koyote’s Bbaek Ga and MAMAMOO’s Solar couldn’t keep their mouth closed from the beginning. Heejun Moon was also amazed by Hoppipolla’s performance and said “They always make new attempts. They are genius musicians”. Koyote’s Sinji praised Hoppipolla and said “I was excited throughout the performance. Hoppipolla successfully expressed their talents and skills in one song. They are genius”.

In the final, Hoppipolla became the winner with a high score of 417. Hoppipolla won Immortal Songs in their second attempt based on their differentiated stage. After the performance, Hoppipolla members looked at each other and smiled.

In the episode broadcasted on October 5, Hoppipolla, Sungeun Yu, Giant Pink, MAMAMOO, Yook Jungwan Band, Gugudan’s Nayoung, Verivery, and girls reinterpreted Koyote’s hit songs. Jongmin Kim said “I felt a lot during the performances and I feel so grateful to people here for singing our songs”.
