[OSEN= Reporter Minkyung Ji] '2019 Super Band Concert' started in Seoul with huge passions.

In August 3, ‘2019 Super Band Concert’ Seoul Performance was held at 3:00 PM and 7:30 PM at Hwajeong Stadium, Korea University, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul.

Top 6 teams making to finals of JTBC ‘Super Band’ participated joint concert to return supports and loves from their fans. In the concert, the winning team ‘Hoppipolla’ and 5 other teams including LUCY, People On Bridge, MONE, Aftermoon, and Purple Rain caught eyes of the audiences with high-quality performances. 

The first stage started with a cheerful atmosphere. All participants performed 'Adventure of a lifetime' together in the first stage. The members of 6 teams demonstrated unrivaled scale by playing their instruments such as electric guitar, piano, drum, bass, violin, and cello.

The first stage was followed up by each team’s premium live performances. The 6 teams presented audiences with deep impression and excitements with rich sound full of their own unique characteristics. Also, the audiences enjoyed the different instrument composition, musical style, and charming points for each band. 

Each team demonstrated perfect stages by arranging the performances from Super Band show or by performing with the members from other teams. In MONE’s ‘Royals’ stage, Hajin Kim from Purple Rain played bass. Also, in the last stage with ‘1000X’ and ‘Creep’ performed by the winning team, Hoppipolla, Hyungwoo Kim from People On The Bridge played bass to complete in-depth and filled-up stage.

Although the weather was extremely hot, the audiences’ response was hotter than the hot weather. The audiences stood up and clapped for all stages and they turned on the cell phone flashlight and waved hands along the beat. With explosive responses, the audiences also chanted encore during Purple Rain’s performance. The performance was filled up with the stage masters and audiences who know how to enjoy the stage.

‘Super Ban’d is the first audition show to focus on the chemistry between ‘Genius Musicians’ with talents in singing, playing instrument, and sing-songwriting ability. The show gained huge supports from the viewers for over 3 months with legendary stages of talented genius musicians ranging from vocals, instrument players, and singer-songwriters.

Meeting 8,000 audiences in Seoul Concert, ‘Super Band Concert’ will be held in Gwangju, Busan, Suwon, and Daegu..
