[Xsports News Reporter Hyunjeong Kim] (Continues from Interview③) It’s not an exaggeration to say the drama was ‘Rediscovery of Minue Noh’. Minue Noh melted into MBC drama ‘Partners for Justice Season 2’ by acting as a cold-hearted emergency department surgeon Chul Jang and serial murderer Doctor at the same time. Minue Noh also commented that he feels good to be an actor.

“While the public shows immediate response to music, drama is made over a long time. So, I get feedback and learn in more earnest attitude. When I shoot scenes with other actors, I feel like having a power struggle with them. Acting is closely related to life and it helps me a lot. Also, I learned a lot from other actors’ simple and modest lifestyle”.

Minue Noh seeks to successful both as an actor and singer. His next goal is music. He will be releasing a full album soon and approaching the public as a singer.

He said “I almost finished mixing for the songs. The new album will be released after choosing the title song and thinking about the right time for releasing the music video. I didn’t want my album to have few good title songs and include other songs made by others. So, I never released a full album. Although I always had a thirst for full album, I didn’t want to release it until I could come up with stories I really want to deliver, stories I can deliver confidently, and find my true color. During my break, I organized such parts in my head”.

After his debut as a rock band, TraxX, he left the band in 2004. In 2015, Minue Noh claimed a compensation for damages of 150 million won to SM Entertainment for interrupting the entertainment activities continuously. However, he lost the case. He said he could endure the hard time with supports from family. Minue Noh’s brother is well known as a singer I’ll who won JTBC ‘Superband’.

I’ll is a member of Hoppipolla (Hyunsang Ha, Youngso Kim, Jinho Hong, I’ll). In ‘Super Band’, Hoppipolla sang ‘Hoppipolla’ in the first final with a lyrical feeling and sang ‘Wake Me Up’ in the second final with country-style feeling and cello. In the live stage, Hoppipolla won with ‘One more light’.

“Me and I’ll didn’t expect to win ‘Super Band’. I thank all fans supporting Hoppipolla. I feel so proud of him. When he was a baby, I used to change his diaper. Then, he is now as tall as me and I feel amazed how he sings with emotions. When he sings a love song, I think ‘Has he been in love? If so, why didn’t he tell me’. I’ll is a person who thinks carefully before taking an action. I hope he continues to think about his music and make great music with Hoppipolla members”.  

Minue Noh said he had a huge influence on I’ll since he was young. As I’ll followed everything Noh did, I’ll naturally became a singer like his brother. I’ll once commented that “My brother was always strict about music. When I won ‘Super Band’, he hugged me without any word. That hug remained in my heart more than a word”. Minue Noh also showed his deep affections for his brother.

“I’m older than I’ll by 8 years and my family members are mother, me, and my brother. So, I was like a father since I was young. My mother wanted me and my brother to major in classic. However, I was in to rock music and my brother was influenced by me. He always followed me. He listened to music I used to listen and he tried to become a singer like me. So, I always gave him advice on music, direction, life plan, and career path. When I suggested him on studying in the United States, he said he didn’t want to go to United States. Then, as he came back after studying in the United States, he said he learned a lot and he even thanked me”.

Recently, the brothers collaborated together as I’ll sang ‘Partners for Justice Season 2’ sound track written and composed by Minue Noh. 

“As I wrote and composed the sound track, I could see possibilities of working together. I’ll made few songs. When I asked him when he will hand them to me, he said he would. His songs can be in my album and my songs can be in his album. I also produced the album that I’ll released before he participated in ‘Super Band’. Making albums with family was really fun and memorable. Someday, I hope to make a unit with him and perform together”.
