(Seoul=News 1) Reporter Areum Jang = After becoming the first winner of ‘Super Band’, Hoppipolla member I’ll talked about his future plans for the music.

In the press conference for JTBC ‘Super Band’ held at JTBC New Building on July 17 at Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul shared his thoughts and said “Hoppipolla is unfamiliar word in Korea. I wish people would imagine scenery and get comfort by listening to our music without knowing the meaning of the word”.

I’ll also said “We named our group by thinking about the music we want to continue ultimately. Our band has a unique style from general bands. As our band’s instruments are composed of basic instruments without band, some people are worried about absence of drum. However, all of our members are good at using midi music and we are also willing to use digital sound sources. So, we are interested in mixing various sounds together for various attempts”.

‘Super Band’ is a program for finding the genius musician and making a super band with best combination and music. The program ended on last July 12. The episode 13 aired on July 5 recorded the highest ratings of 3.7% (National Broadcasting Ratings provided by The Nielsen Korea,). Also the program became popular in non-drama fields.

Hoppipolla is the first winner of ‘Super Band’ and the band members are composed of I’ll (vocal, keyboard), Yeoungso Kim (guitarist), Hyunsang Ha (vocal), and Jinho Hong (cellist). Hoppipolla means ‘Jumping into Puddle’ in Icelandic language. The band was named ‘Hoppipolla’ wishing the fans to jump into the music of Hoppipolla.
