[OSEN=Reporter Huiseon Yeon] MBC Monday and Tuesday drama 'Partners for Justice Season 2' staff released the director and actors’ choice on key points for chapter two. 

‘Partners for Justice Season 2’ opens up the new era of Korean-style investigation drama and it covers the special cooperation between a strange forensic doctor Bum Baek (Jaeyoung Jeong), new prosecutor Eunsol (Yumi Jeong), and experienced prosecutor Jihan Doh (Mansuk Oh). Season 2 captures the hearts of the viewers with ‘Mansang Oh Case’ from season 1 and new mysterious cases in every episode.

MBC’s first seasonal drama, ‘Partners for Justice Season 2’  is a genre drama made in collaboration between the director Dochul Noh participating directing and script for his outstanding and directing and role as a creator and a dramatist Jineun Min who have been loved by the viewers. With such features, ‘Partners for Justice Season 2’ attracts viewers’ attention with continuous favorable reviews.

According to recent ratings of The Nielson Company, ‘Partners for Justice Season 2’  recorded the capital ratings of 9.8% showing a sharp increase. Also, the drama showed the power of Korean-style well-made investigation drama by recording the 2049 ratings of 4.2%. In addition, the drama continues the acceleration with the highest ratings per minute exceeded 10.5%. The drama is to about to reach the halfway point and the director and actors chose their key points for the second chapter. 

#01. Steps of Mysterious Doctor K, Chul Jang 

The previous episode revealed a double life of Chul Jang (MINUE). Chul Jang working as a surgeon at emergency department was actually Doctor K who stands in the center of mysterious murder cases and leads the cases to the maze. Director Noh and MINUE chose the future steps of Doctor K as the key point for the second chapter.

Director Noh said “Further episodes will revealing MINUE (Chul Jang)’s mysterious secrets. After creating Chul Jang character, I had to think over the character in writing the script. I luckily found MINUE as a perfect actor for Chul Jang. Also, I feel glad that a lot of people are supporting our drama”. He also talked about the next cases and delivered that “The key point for the next episodes would be the twist of the episodes with Chul Jang”.

#02. Stronger Cooperation & Team Play with Trusts 

Jaeyoung Jeong (Bum Baek) and Yumi Jeong (Eunsol) pointed out “Closer Cooperation” as the key point for the following episodes. Although the forensic doctor, Bum Baek, lacked sociality in the previous season, the new prosecutor Eunsol had her hearts before her head. In season 2, they cooperate together to solve the cases and show stronger team play. While Bum Baek and Eunsol had conflicting opinions, they built up trust as they worked together and shows stronger team play with such trust.

Jaeyoung Jeong said “Every episode covers the different mysterious case. In such situation, National Forensic Service and Eastern Branch of Public Prosecutors’ Office cooperate to solve the case. I think they understand each other better through different opinions and conflicts during the investigation". Jeong also delivered that “The key point for the next episodes would be the investigation based on the trust for each other” and made viewers get curious about the upcoming episodes.

Furthermore, Yumi Jeong said “As the drama continues from season 1 to season 2, viewers will be watching the cases with bigger villains that they couldn’t imagine". She also commented that “Please wait for the team work between the characters and how they solve the complicate cases”.

#03. ‘Mansang Oh Case’ and Gradual Reveal

In season 1, the villain Mansang Oh died from the car accident. Then, the previous episode revealed that Mansang Oh was actually alive. In response, the episodes cover the progress of investigation in new directions. Mansuk Oh and Seunghyun Kang (Sally Kim) chose ‘Mansang Oh’ case and stories of related people as the key point for the next episodes.

Mansuk Oh said “Season 1 ended with ‘Mansang Oh’ case and it reappeared in season 2 again. Personally, I can’t wait to see how this case would turn out in season 2”. Oh also delivered that “Please wait for how ‘Mansang Oh Case’ is covered in a seasonal drama and how the case is related to different other cases”.
  

Also, Seunghyun Kang said “I personally enjoyed ‘Mansang Oh Case’ from the season 2 as a viewer. As season 2 reveals the Mansang Oh and corruptions of executives in Eastern Branch of Public Prosecutors’ Office, the tense story would be the key point for the next episodes. Don’t miss how the characters solve the connection between Mansang Oh case and other cases”. 

Director Dochul Noh said “Our drama is approaching the second half with supports from a lot of people”. He also confidently commented that “The further episodes will make viewers to focus with unexpected twists”.

Also, director Noh explained that “Although I cannot open the details, the upcoming episodes will be covering the sensitive matters that were controversial in our society”. He also delivered his wish that “We try to observe the case it is without glorifying the case or making hasty decisions. Please support the further episodes”.
