'Partners for Justice Season 2' marked the return to throne of Monday and Tuesday drama. 

According to The Nielsen Company, MBC Monday and Tuesday drama, ‘Partners for Justice Season 2’ aired on June 17 recorded metropolitan household ratings of 8.4% and 2049 ratings of 3.8. Also, the ending scene exceeded the minute-unit ratings of 10.8% and ranked the top place for Monday and Tuesday drama. Also, the national ratings of ‘Partners for Justice Season 2’ exceeded KBS 2TV drama ‘Perfume’. 

The episode aired on June 17 covered a case where two females were serially murdered in a motel and villa. The unnatural dead body found at the motel was a 22-year-old university student who took the semester off and the criminal burned the outer skin of the body by setting the fire after the murder. Finding the body, Jaeyoung Jeong (Bum Baek) gets curious about whether the criminal was trying to burn the whole body or burn only the outer skin.

The unknown dead body found in a villa was also murdered by strangling and the criminal disguised her as hanging. The crime patterns such as red stockings, black nail polish, and cut flesh were the same as the first case. Especially, while the two dead bodies had neither remarkable fingerprint nor trance, the footprint of same sneaker was found on the murder scene. As a result, the cases were classified as indiscriminate serial murder and the investigation was progressed by leaving the door of crimes committed by the same criminal.

In the ending scene, Yumi Jeong (Eunsol) who was struggling to find the trace of crime and prevent the further victims warned that the cases are unusual and said that “This is a planned murder”. Especially, the episode showed a scene where an emergency department doctor Minue Noh (Chul Jang) committed a murder and the scene raised the doubt on the true identity of him.

With breathtaking case development, hard works of actors, seasonal drama with solid composition by Director Dochul Noh, and delicate directing, the ratings for the rerun of ‘Partners for Justice Season 2’ exceeds 3.8%. The 9^th and 10^th episode will be aired today (June 18) at 8:55 PM.
