[Sports Seoul Reporter Jinsil Choi] ‘Partners for Justice Season 2’ brought a successful conclusion and raised expectations for season 3 by leaving questions on the actual criminal who concealed the snake venom case.

According to The Nielsen Company, the last episode for MBC Monday and Tuesday drama ‘Partners for Justice Season 2’ aired on July 29 recorded the capital ratings of 10.4% with highest ratings for all episodes. Also, 2049 ratings also reached its highest figure of 5.4%. Recording the highest ratings in the last episode, ‘Partners for Justice Season 2’ wrote a new history in the seasonal drama.

‘Partners for Justice Season 2’ covers the special cooperation between a strange forensic doctor Jaeyoung Jeong (Bum Baek), new prosecutor Yumi Jeong (Eunsol), and experienced prosecutor Mansuk Oh (Jihan Doh). Season 2 attracted people’s attention with ‘Mansang Oh Case’ from season 1 and new mysterious cases in every episode.

Especially, director Dochul Noh participated from script to planning as a creator who leads the seasonal drama with his delicate directing. Demonstrating continues rise in ratings and remarkable popularity in season 2, the viewers are expressing their expectations for season 3. 

In the last episode of ‘Partners for Justice Season 2’, MINUE (Chul Jang), Mansuk Oh (Jihan Doh), and Doguk Lee (Daechul Gal) had a fierce battle. As MINUE and Mansuk Oh were trying to run away from the killer hired by Doguk Lee, Noh and Oh got shot and fell off the cliff. The scene shocked the viewers and made them to focus on the drama until the end.

Also, Ekyung Lee who appeared as Suho Cha in the previous season appeared in Season 2 as an undercover specialist for Drug Squad. Lee arrested Dohyun Kim (Mansang Oh) who was trying to buy drugs. Viewers were waiting for the clear end for ‘Mansang Oh Case’ continuing from the Season 1. However, while Yumi Jeong was investigating on Dohyun Kim, Doguk Lee sent her out and threatened Kim to admit crimes he admitted. As a result, Doguk Lee received Exemplary Prosecutor Award and this made viewers grow anger toward the character.

Meanwhile, Jaeyoung Jeong found evidences of MINUE’s crime. Looking at the suspicious traces in the snake venom injector, Nosusanna (Suyeon Han) said “Someone intentionally planted false evidence. Why?” and Jeong answered “Wrong question. Who would have done that?”. The conversation between the two demonstrated how Jaeyoung Jeong, Doguk Lee, and MINUE will be chasing each other in the next season.

In addition, the last episode showed a cookie video and described the characters after the ending scene. Then, MINUE appeared again with Mansuk Oh who became an attorney. The viewers were shocked as the two characters who fell off the clip showed up again and they showed higher expectations for ‘Partners for Justice Season 3’.
