The latest of MBC drama ‘Partners for Justice Season 2’ presented impressive sense of immersion as Jaeyoung Jeong found the clue of ‘Angiokeratoma’ after looking at CCTV photo from the red stocking case and started raising doubts on MINUE.

According to The Nielson Company, the episode aired yesterday (July 9) recorded the capital ratings of 9.8 % and secured its place as the no.1 Monday and Tuesday drama. Also, the drama showed its unequaled presence by recording the 2049 ratings of 5.0% breaking its highest record. 

‘Partners for Justice Season 2’ is getting favorable responses from the viewers for its well-organized and delicate stories. The drama is about the special cooperation between a strange forensic doctor Jaeyoung Jeong (Bum Baek), new prosecutor Yumi Jeong (Eunsol), and experienced prosecutor (Jihan Doh). Season 1 ended with ‘Mansang Oh Case’ and season 2 is catching viewers’ attention with its mysterious cases for every episode.

Especiall, director Dochul Noh is participating from scrip to planning as a creator leading the seasonal drama with delicate and impressive directing. The drama is on the rise with continuous increase in ratings based on episodes with favorable reviews. 

In the last episode aired yesterday (July 09), Jaeyoung Jeong got CCTV file for Red Stocking Case and he found out that the criminal had ‘Angiokeratoma’. The scene described Jeong’s growing doubts on MINUE.

As Jaeyoung Jeong thoroughly reviewed all books related to ‘Angiokeratoma’, Nosusanna (Suyeon Han) and MINUE entered his room and had dinner together. Then, when Nosusanna (Suyeon Han) and her daughter went to bathroom, Jaeyoung Jeong and MINUE started the war or nerves.

Jaeyoung Jeong starred at MINUE’s face and hands. Then he asked “You know angiokeratoma? Is it possible for angiokeratoma to disappear suddenly?”. Then, Noh answered “That’s impossible” flatly. Then, Jaeyoung Jeong replied “I heard that patients with multiple personality disorder may have different disease for each personality”. Noh reputed and provoked Jeong saying that “There is no such case in Korea. If so, how about you find one?’. The tense confrontation between Jeong and Noh brought breathtaking tension to the viewers.

When MINUE was playing with Nosusanna (Suyeon Han)’s daughter, he found a sketchbook with her drawings. Then, he got shocked by the drawing of a bed placed on a dark room. After that, Minue went home to give medicine for her mother and he only found an empty bed.

Looking at the empty bed, MINUE lost his control. Even though he searched every corner of the house, he couldn’t find the trace of his mother. Then, he looked at the diary and found a drawing where ‘Doctor K’ was hanging the mother in younger days with a dryer wire. Minue got shocked from the drawing and started shouting “NO!!!”. With an outraged voice, Noh asked ‘Doctor K’ whether he killed his mother. Then, ‘Doctor K’ laughed at Noh and answered “Yes, I killed her and it’s been years”. The scene of Noh and Doctor K brought shocks to viewers.    

The scene was a shocking twist showing that Noh’s mother in the past episodes was all illusions. In the episode, ‘Doctor K’ also met Doguk Lee (Daechul Gal) and got an order to kill Mansuk Oh. Then, Noh looked at angiokeratoma on his arm and said “I need to kill one more person”. The scene presented swirling stories of Noh and Doctor K.

After the episode was released, netizens commented that “It was such a shocking twist”, “I was out of my mind. I am really impressed by their acting”. “This is the best drama ever”, “Now I understand why this drama is ranking no.1 among Monday and Tuesday dramas”, “I am really surprised by MINUE’s acting skills”, “I can’t wait for the next episodes”.
