In MBC drama ‘Partners for Justice Season 2’, Jaeyoung Jeong performed an autopsy and figured out that the victim of the murder case is just one person rather than 4 people. The episode proved that the case is not the serial murder. 

According to The Nielsen Company, MBC Monday and Tuesday drama ‘Partners for Justice Season 2’ reached the household ratings of 8.6% and ranked the first place in overall Monday and Tuesday drama with enthusiastic actors and speedy development. Furthermore, ‘Partners for Justice Season 2’ is accelerating its success by exceeding the 2049 ratings of 4.1%. 

‘Partners for Justice Season 2’ is about the special cooperation between a strange forensic doctor Bum Baek (Jaeyoung Jeong), new prosecutor Eunsol (Yumi Jeong), and experienced prosecutor Jihan Do (Mansuk Oh). The well-made crime investigation drama covers the characters’ struggles for finding the truth of ‘Mansang Oh Case’ from season 1. It became the top Monday and Tuesday drama with its popularity.

Especially, the viewers are showing favorable reviews on the drama for director Dochul Noh’s delicate directing and participation from scrip to directing as a creator.

In the ‘Partners for Justice Season 2’ aired yesterday (June 18), the serial murder case happened every 3 hours and implied the planned murder for the next case. As the second victim was found in a villa and a lot of blood and part of dismembered bodies were found in park bathroom and playground, the situation got even worse in the episode. 

In response, the Eastern Branch of Public Prosecutors’ Office focused on the part that the 3 murder cases show identical crime pattern and continued investigation by leaving the door of possibilities for the additional crimes. The episode caught the eyes of viewers with speedy development of serial murder case.

When Mansuk Oh was investigating on the first victim, Heeju Jeong, found at the motel, he was put on an official trial for Disciplinary Committee for not being in the crime scene. As Mansuk Oh was suspended for execution as the preliminary measure, Yumi Jeong takes the case as a chief prosecutor without Mansuk Oh. The unpredictable episode development confused the viewers. 

In addition, while Jaeyoung Jeong was examining the victim, he figured out that the victim was a cancer patient and that the victim died naturally from the multiple organ dysfunction syndrome caused by the lung cancer. He also suggested the critical clue to the investigation and concluded that the criminal was the same person as the blood found on the sink was identical to the blood extracted from the dismembered body.

Jayoung Jeong found out that the Heeju Jeong found in the motel was the only victim from the murder case. The episode aroused the curiosity on the reason for disguising the case as a serial murder case to hide the murder of one victim, Heeju Jeong.

In the episode, Jaeyoung Jeong passed by Minue Noh (Chul Jang) and he instantly smelled a subtle odor from Minue Noh. Jeong looked at Noh with sharp eyes and asked “Did you touch a dead body today?”. Hearing the question, Noh got nervous. The episode 11 and 12 finished with curiosities over the tight conflict between Noh and Jeong.
